No Favouritism

Key Text: James 2:1-13

It doesn't get much more direct than this: "My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory."—James 2:1 (ESV)

Elsewhere, Paul says, "For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong."—1 Corinthians 1:26-27 (ESV)

We shouldn't be too hasty in thinking we're beyond this. Join us this week as we sit with the challenge of showing no partiality.
