Sermon On The Mount: Conclusion

Key Text: Matthew 7:28-29

This world is filled with countless voices, each in mortal combat for our attention.

All of us submit to some form of authority, be it helpful or otherwise. It's not a matter of 'if' we will bow our knee, but 'to whom' we will bow our knee.

For the last five months we've been moving through the 'Sermon on the Mount', slowly digesting Jesus' powerful teaching and seeking to align our lives with the 'greater righteousness' he offers.

The sermon has finished. The crowd on the hillside begins to disperse. But what now? Is a sermon enough? Can mere words change eternal destinies?

Well, the answer to that depends on who's speaking.

Bow your knee to Jesus, he has authority like no other!
