Fasting is for God, Not Public Display

Key Text: Matthew 6:16-18

In an age of opulence and fine dining, 'fasting' can seem like a foreign concept to many Christians.

This week as we think through Jesus' warning about practicing our righteousness publicly, in order to be noticed, we're going to pause and consider the Biblical practice of 'fasting'.

What is it? Should we do it? What's it for? And why does Jesus warn us about how we practice it?
